Certified Makey Makey Trainer, Sheri Omernik will introduce some of Makey Makey's newest apps and walk through a Student Inventor Challenge with you, so that you can be confident presenting this workshop and others to your students. 

We will breeze through creating a circuit (just to help understanding of what is happening when Makey Makey is doing it's thing), go through some stomp switch making (students can use this to create game controllers for flappy bird or Dance Dance Revolution) and then use the learning to build momentary (think doorbell) and maintained alarm (think someone opened a box they shouldn't have)systems. You'll be able to use what you learn in the session, including slides and resources to hold this session for your students. It'll be instantly applicable and always a crowd favorite!
